![]() ![]() ![]() I want to have a fie called mybackyard but can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. ![]() Somehow I managed to get the edited file into the C:Program FilesStellariumlandscapes which now shows my backyard panorama under the woodhenge landscape name. I have a directory that I have named mybackyard with the files in it I need but don't know what the next step is to complete the setup? I am not a programmer, I am no expert on Windows 10 and I can't find the answer in the guide so forgive the additional question.I downloaded an additional landscape file (woodhenge) and copied my landscape.png file over the woodhenge.png file. I can see the difference between the two directories(as was pointed out) but my C:UsersYOUAppDataRoamingStellarium directory does not have a landscape folder? I thought I did the standard install but obviously am missing something.I have played with this for a while and don't actually remember how I managed to get the modified woodhenge file into the program files directory?Īs was pointed out, I don't have the rights. Assuming that you might be using Windows, did you put your landscape under the system-owned general-user-write-denied directory C:Program FilesStellariumlandscapes instead of, as the Guide clearly describes, C:UsersYOUAppDataRoamingStellariumlandscapes?BTW, existing examples and the Guide indicate it's anglerotatez for spherical, and decoranglerotatez/groundanglerotatez for oldstyle landscapes. Of course you must be able to edit your own landscape.ini to configure it, in the same way as you changed the texture name and landscape name, location, and other factors. I thought I read somewhere that is what I was supposed to do? Access denied error has nothing to do with Stellarium, but with your operating system. 'anglerotatez=45.0'worst case I can go back and reshoot the picture starting at the correct point. I did find the code to change the landscape.ini file (I hope) but can't edit the landscape.ini file - access denied error.I can't seem to find anyone who had this problem previously so maybe I am doing something wrong with something else? Why can't I edit this file?code to rotate landscape is? I thought I read somewhere that is what I was supposed to do? I have manged to load a panorama of my backyard in the landscape directory but I am out by 45 degrees.
